Rafiel Slade’s soulful and unique approach to music, mixing blues, rock, motown, jazz, funk, and his love of playing for live audiences has made him a popular act on the Colorado music scene. Rafiel had been entertaining audiences all over the US. As a founding member of Rafiel and the Roomshakers, a member of The Risse Band, and Deep Blue Sea, the bands and their members have opened for headliners such as David Ruffin, Eddie Kendricks, The Supremes, Sawyer Brown, Mothers Finest, Levert, Millie Jackson, McFadden and Whitehead, Eddie Floyd, and Clifford CUrry to name a few
